There are three styles of accommodation to choose from. The Standard Garden Rooms are perfect for families with a separate loft bedroom that sleeps two children comfortably. Standard Poolside Rooms provide a resort feel with private balconies overlooking the lagoon style pool. We also cater for the budget traveller with ensuite twin or queen rooms or dormitory rooms with four single beds.

Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is situated between two World Heritage listed areas – The Daintree Rainforest and The Great Barrier Reef. It is only natural then that the Lodge’s restaurant architecture and ambience should embrace and blend into it surrounds so perfectly. Cassowary Cafe sits shaded by the lush rainforest canopy and enjoys views over the lagoon style pool. It is the perfect venue for a relaxed tropical breakfast, a lazy lunch by the pool or a sunset cocktail before a casual and affordable dinner. Your may choose to enjoy the rustic forest surrounds of the two dining huts, or dine on the deck overlooking the pool.

Don’t forget that guests staying at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge and who maybe looking for a more intimate dining experience are welcome to dine at The Cape Restaurant and Bar at our sister property, Coconut Beach Rainforest Lodge which has reciprocal room charge facilities. Cassowary Café is situated overlooking the main pool at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge. The Café consists of 2 dining huts built into the rainforest along with a main building and outside deck. The tropical style adds to the ambience and wonder of the lodge itself. The menu is perfect for family or casual dining with no one dish priced over $20.

The Café is casual, fun and relaxed.

A delicious continental breakfast buffet selection is available for breakfast between 6:30am and 9:30am daily. A light lunch and snack menu is available seasonally.

For dinner, the menu offers a range of pastas, gourmet pizzas, grilled steaks, fish and chicken as well as an extensive salad bar and a “sides” selection. The Café is open for dinner from 6pm to 9pm.

A casual and friendly bar with pool tables, juke box and internet access located at the rear of reception overlooking the lodges second pool.
